My dad was class of ’30, my two brothers were the class of
’60 and ’65 and I the class of ’68. I lived in room 1 in West Hall. Took piano lessons at the Conservatory of Music from Dr Edward Shadbolt. Got my B.A. and teaching credential from Pacific. Taught World History at Linden High School for 40 years. Served ad its head football coach for 29 years and head softball coach for 23 years.
I attend as many U.O.P. basketball and softball games as zi can. I miss Memorial Stadium. I was in that stadium as a fan, player, coach and as a member of the Pacific band. Good times.
