If you are applying to the Powell Scholars or the Pacific Humanities Scholars honors programs and want first-round consideration, you should submit an Early Action application.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">But even if you\u2019re not applying to those programs, there are other advantages to applying early:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>You get a decision before the holidays<\/strong><br>At Pacific, if you apply by the Nov. 15 Early Action deadline, you will find out if you\u2019re admitted by Dec. 20.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Scholarship opportunities<\/strong><br>There is more scholarship money available at the beginning of the application season than later, so it is possible your financial options could be greater.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Receive your financial aid package earlier<\/strong><br>Unlike many universities, Pacific sends your financial aid offer at the same time you receive your admission decision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Early decision = peace of mind<\/strong><br>Learning whether you\u2019ve been admitted allows you to enjoy the holiday season without worrying about your future at Pacific.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Special events<\/strong><br>Pacific hosts special events exclusively for early admitted students that help you and your family decide whether Pacific is the right fit for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application deadlines&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Here are the important dates to remember when applying:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Early Action: Nov. 15&nbsp;<br>Admission notification: Dec. 20&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Regular Action: Jan. 15&nbsp;<br>Admission notification: March 15&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Whether you decided on Early Admission or Regular Admission, you can use Pacific\u2019s application or the Common Application.
