The local arts and food scenes have roots in many cultures and ethnicities. This month, we\u2019ve got a plethora of Halloween celebrations and seasonal festivals such as Dia De Los Muertos Street Fair or Filipino American History Month Fest. But then, don\u2019t miss uniquely local happenings such as evening concerts at Take 5 Jazz Club or Central Valley Agua Fresca Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">With such a diverse calendar of events, everyone will find something to do in Stockton in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Find fun Halloween celebrations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Oct. 29<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/mexicanheritagecenter.org\/events\/dia-de-los-muertos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dia de los Muertos Street Fiesta<\/a> at the Mexican Center and Gallery is a local favorite with Mariachi and cultural dance groups, the Catrina Pageant, food, arts and vendors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Oct. 29<\/strong>, A popular Halloween event, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitstockton.org\/events\/trick-or-treat-on-the-mile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trick or Treat on the Mile<\/a> is fun for all ages. Adults can shop in the Boo-tique while children search for sweet prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Oct. 29<\/strong>, Hops and Goblins Beerfest at the Lodi Grape Festival is for adults only and promises a frightfully good time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>If you\u2019re looking for sports and recreation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Car races and dirt trucks<\/strong>: Get an adrenaline kick at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stockton99.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stockton 99 Speedway<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Golf<\/strong>: From public to private,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitstockton.org\/sports\/stockton-golf-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explore Stockton\u2019s golf courses<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Ice skating<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/oakparkicerink.com\/programs\/skating\/public\/\">Oak Park Ice Arena<\/a>&nbsp;is the Valley\u2019s premiere ice skating rink.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>If you prefer arts, food and culture<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Through October<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/hagginmuseum.org\/\">Haggin Museum<\/a>&nbsp;is an art and local history museum located in the middle of the picturesque Victory Park.
