You\u2019ll have the opportunity to engage in many areas of service, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Agriculture and support&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community care and family aid&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animal advocacy&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>City improvement and beautification&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancer patient support&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education and art&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I volunteer if I\u2019m differently abled?\u00a0\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes! There will be a variety of roles available during the event so <strong>all students<\/strong> can participate. Closed-toe shoes are <strong>required<\/strong>. Sturdy and comfortable shoes are recommended.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll receive a hat at check-in to protect yourself from the sun, but you should bring your own sunscreen or any other type of sun protection you\u2019ll need.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should also bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. You can refill your water bottle at your volunteer site. Don\u2019t worry about food\u2014you\u2019ll receive a snack at check in. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What can I expect day-of?\u00a0\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday, August 26, please plan to arrive at Knoles Lawn at 8 a.m. to check in. Transportation to your volunteer site will be provided through a bus service.
