“Pacific is in such an incredible area in Northern California where we can do world-class outdoor activities and visit world-class cities all within a day trip,” said Pacific Recreation Assistant Director Laura Whiteley. “Our students work so hard in the classroom, and it is important to give them an outlet to get away and have fun.”

Tigers Escaped to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Recently, the Tigers took a trip an hour and 20 minutes away from campus to visit Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo. The ride to and from the park, discounted tickets and a voucher for a meal, snack and drink were all included. It was a great opportunity for students to focus on having fun and chasing thrills. Students spent the day exploring the park during Fright Fest festivities, riding the most exciting rides, seeing dolphins and butterflies, and eating classic amusement park fare like churros, funnel cake and more.
